A Thousand Words: Bathroom Drawer

Cleaned out the kids' bathroom drawer today. Note to self: when giving them a new toothbrush, remember to say, "Throw the old one away."

  1. Ha ha ha ha! Isn't it lovely how savvy your kids are! I really hope they managed to keep the old brushes out of use :)

By the way, do you plan on reusing them somehow? So many tooth brushes call for a creative action!

  2. That is so funny! We keep some of the old tooth brushes for cleaning the bottoms of shoes, etc., but nothing like that. I love all the variety!

  6. That's great. I use the old toothbrushes in the garage all the time. Maybe you can find a creative use for them.

  11. It's certainly a colorful assortment. :D
Let's see I believe I read in one of The Beading Gem's Journal post about a jewelry maker that made bangle bracelets out of toothbrushes. She used brand new ones but another designer used old ones as you have to boil them for like an hour or more in order to soften up the plastic so it can be bent into a bracelet. But it really looked like a lot more work than I cared to get involved with ... oh the bangles were really pretty, but just a ton of work to make.
